Thanks CT! Same to you and your family. Are y'all doing any Christmas tourism? I had the opportunity to visit Frankfurt at Christmas one year, and it was an incredible experience. They sure do it up for the visitors!

We'll probably go to one of the local Christmas markets at some point. I don't think we've given it much thought because the weather's been so bad lately... rainy and windy here at the moment.

Glad to hear it, Vlad! I needed a reminder myself. Our Christmas kitties have managed to destroy our tree, and I've yet to fix it. *sigh*

We will be gone for the holidays so I decided to opt out of decorating this year, I have too much work getting art commissions done.

Nothing wrong with that. There's a real freedom to opting out of tradition and just doing what feels right:)

etva, wonderful pictures and I was drawn to the big indoor one as especially beautiful. When we were younger we had trees that reached the ceiling. As we have grown older the trees have shrunk. Our tree this year sits on a small end table and is about 2 feet but we still have the tall feelings. Have a wonderful and Merry Christmas!

Thank you FIN! Our christmas tree isn't that big this year either. I'm not sure why they get smaller over the years, but the sentiment is still as large - Have a joyful Christmas!

Thanks, Rottlady! I like that one also. It was something new we decided to try. You can't really tell in the photo, but behind Santa is a tiny bag of gum drops -- and we were very lucky to have some left, because they were a favorite with our little decorators!

LOL, Mrs. D! Trust me, he was scheming! The other night, I heard a noise and thought the cats were in the Xmas tree again. I came down, leaving the lights off, and ran smack into my youngest son. Scared us both to death - LOL! He came down for a midnight drink of eggnog, but tried to tell me that he was just making sure it hadn't gone bad, so we could leave some for Santa! *snort*
