The dope had no sense of humor. Lay in Waiting. That's what he needed, I think. Either that or a laxative. What a story Dowser. You could probably have found a better word than "reamed" to describe what he did, though.

Uh.... most of that stuff goes right over my head!

He fussed at me for quite awhile, how it destroyed the entire paper, how that one comment made the entire paper invalid, and stupid. I think he was having a bad day, and needed someone to yell at, to be honest. :-)

Yeah, that's what I thought. He WAS anal retentive, and very likely should not have been a professor where he had to deal with students. In his case, I could easily see where he would not have fit into any kind of regular job. :-)

    That's why I suggested a laxative - so he couldn't retain anally.

So, I am sitting here looking at the names of the contributors of vine quotes listed above with their quotes. All of those authors are witty and full of fun and smartness ('xceptin' me, I'm just an ass). That list contains many of the people on my friend list and they are there for good reason. I am honored to have one of my quotes there and I appreciate your inclusion of my quote in the article.

To all of the people on the list: keep up the good work and keep us smiling. Making other people happy and allowing us to laugh at ourselves is what it is all about.

Enoch may be the goofiest of all, perhaps. He can get a laugh out of me every time.

I love this quote! So true, Grump!

I'm glad you consider it an honor, but it should be noted, that I surely miss many excellent quips. I just note the ones I happen to see, on the days I have enough time to pluck them into the draft article:)

    Grump,

I've been to Belle's page before and seen the articles. I agree, very thought provoking and sometimes very serious. The little joke did not fall flat. I was simply continuing and amplifying it. The operative words there were "preferably with photographs" (while drooling all over keyboard in anticipation).

It's the paint fumes !!! I have been breathing paint fumes all day. I didn't catch your amplification of the little joke. I am really off tonight. I should go to sleep.

Nah. I don't think belle is going to give us photos. It's not that she's stingy, you see. It is because she doesn't want to get the other people in the photo in too much trouble. Not worth it.
